Religious Education
At Ayresome Primary School, our Religious Education curriculum follows the Middlesbrough Syllabus, offering students a broad and balanced understanding of different religions, beliefs, and worldviews. Our approach encourages respect, empathy, and open-mindedness, helping students appreciate the diverse society we live in.Through engaging lessons, students explore major world religions, reflect on moral and ethical questions, and consider their own values and beliefs. Our aim is to create a respectful space for dialogue, where every child feels valued and confident to express their thoughts.By nurturing an understanding of different beliefs and traditions, we prepare students to be thoughtful, inclusive, and respectful members of the community.
