Welcome from the Head Teacher

On behalf of everybody in our school community, I would like to welcome you and thank you for taking the time to look at our website for Ayresome Primary School. I hope that you will find the pages on our website useful in discovering more about our school and what we offer to all of our pupils.

Our inclusive vision for the school is one which enables all of our community to achieve, enjoy and know success. Our values and school ethos mean that we work together with our pupils, governors, staff and families to ensure that children in our school reach their full potential, whatever their starting points may be.

Our broad curriculum, both in the classroom and beyond, ensures that pupils are empowered though the progressively planned teaching of knowledge and skills, to prepare them well for their futures. Beyond the classroom we offer children the opportunity to take part in educational visits and through visitors on site, utilising the wonderful green space that we have available. Our wide and varied off of after school clubs ensures that all talents are nurtured so that all children can achieve well.

In addition to this, you will find important information related to our provision. You will be able to read important and key policies, see the learning our children participate in through pupil voice and their photos, find information about how we support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, our results across school and how we allocate our pupil and sport premiums.
