Admissions Consultation 2025/26
Ayresome Primary School is formally consulting on a proposal to the admissions policy for the 2025/26 academic year. These include a change to the distance criteria wording, supporting sections and an additional definition added for looked after and previously looked after children. These changes also reflect the proposed changes to the Middlesbrough Local Authority admissions policy for 2025/26.
A copy of the proposed policy is below.
As an academy we follow Middlesbrough Council Admissions procedures for children who are statutory school age, and this is managed centrally by Middlesbrough Council. This includes the normal admissions round, in-year applications and appeals.
We have 90 places per year group from Reception to Year 6.
We have a 52 place nursery, both morning and afternoon.
We also have a 16 place two year old setting, both morning and afternoon.
